Thai Mix Massage

Our Thai Mix Massage is a variant of Traditional Thai massage, using a combination of firm pressure and deep rhythmic movements along meridian/energy lines of the body, stretching techniques and your own body's natural movement. This treatment aims to unblock, balance and restore the body’s natural flow of Prana/Qi/Chi/Energy and so maintain equilibrium in all organs and systems within the body, thus preventing poor health and disease, enabling the body to heal itself and work efficiently. It is perfect for anyone who is particularly stressed, needs invigorating or balancing, or those who just appreciate a treatment using firmer pressure or something a little different to the norm!

Hot Stone Massage

Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly. Hot stone massage should trigger a deeply relaxed, blissed-out and meditative state. Some people have reported closing their eyes and seeing bright colours. Enjoy the glow - float slowly back to the real world.

Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage is a relaxing holistic treatment that uses acupressure massage on the head, face, neck and shoulders. It aims to rebalance your body's energies. It doesn't seem sufficient to say that a good Indian Head Massage (involving proper neck and shoulder and back massage as well) will relax you. It's more than this. It should actually make you feel detached and serene, and leave you sighing and wordless. Even if you don't experience this level of relaxation, this massage treatment offers all kinds of other benefits. It will relieve aches, pains and tension in your neck, back and shoulders, improve the texture of your hair and encourage it to grow. An Indian head massage stimulates the flow of blood, lymph and oxygen in your upper body which will clear your sinuses, relieve stress and help you sleep better. And because it can help soothe headaches (even migraine!), eye strain and anxiety, an Indian Head Massage can even help you to concentrate better at work.

Reflexology

Reflexology is based on the principle that reflex points on the soles, tops, and sides of the feet correspond to different areas of the body. In this way, the feet can be seen as a ‘map’ of the body. By applying specialised massage techniques to specific reflex points - using the thumbs, fingers and knuckles – the aim of a reflexology treatment is to help restore balance to the body naturally, and improve the client’s general well-being. Benefits of reflexology: reflexology can help to relieve anxiety and tension, encourage relaxation, improve mood and aid sleep, though some people use it to help them cope with more specific health challenges.

Ear Candling

The treatment increases blood flow and stimulates lymphatic drainage, restoring balance and enabling your body to correct many problems. The candles are placed just inside the ears. The light vortex action and the movement of the flame create a vibration of air in the ear canal, generating a massage-like, warming effect. It is these movements which create the ideal environment for the body to rid itself of excess mucus in the middle ear, inner ear, and sometimes the sinuses, resulting in a balance of pressure and reduction of symptoms. This treatment will not remove compacted wax. We work with 2 brands of candles, namely Biosun and Nature’s Helix.
